Using a thermal imaging camera which has been purchased as part of a project run by Dorset County Council, DEAC are able to offer two key free services.
- For community buildings and for private businesses we can undertake a survey using a thermal imaging camera, and provide a report on heat loss from the building, supplemented with observations arising from visual inspection.
- For community groups we can provide training in the use of the camera and can loan if out for a week at a time.
Thermal imaging is a useful tool for identifying areas of heat loss, and is an excellent way of teaching people about heat loss. If you have any queries, please contact Pete Bywater at Peter@deac.co.uk or on 01202 209416.
NOTE: Only available from October - April, as at least a 10 degree difference is needed between indoor and outdoor temperatures.
