There are lots of things you can do to cut your carbon footprint, there are a few ideas below. We would love to know what you are doing.
Why not wrap your home up warm?
Insulating your home can save 1 tonne of carbon dioxide per year.
Why not walk or cycle?
Leaving your car at home one day a week can save 0.35 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year.
Why not eat local seasonal food?
Local food travels less.
Why not compost?
Composting, stops green waste rotting in landfill and saves an equivalent of 280kg of carbon dioxide per year.
Why not garden for wildlife?
Gardening with wildlife in mind, helps species adapt to climate change, reduces use of nitrate fertilizers, and gives you somewhere to put that lovely compost!
