”Dorset Climate Change Coalition is working together, to communicate with the people of Dorset the urgency of action on Climate Change, in order to enable and inspire them to take action, both individually and collectively, to address this.” Climate Change is happening here in Dorset, and it will have a major impact on people and wildlife. We can still make a difference, but we need to do it take action now.
Dorset Climate Change Coalition is a group of public and community sector partners in Dorset who are working together to raise awareness and support people to take action on climate change.

You can still get involved and measure your carbon footprint, you can use the online Act on CO2 calculator , which provides an action plan to help you to reduce your footprint or download an offline questionnaire.
Now you have measured your footprint, think about how you can reduce it, if you used the Act on CO2 calculator the action plan gives some tips or take a look at our leaflet and action sheet.

Graham from Poole says: “I’m worried about climate change so I've started cycling to work two or three times a week to reduce my carbon footprint, it took a bit of getting used to but its fine now and I feel much fitter.”

The project aims to develop the membership of the Coalition, to raise awareness of climate change amongst local partners and the public, to work with local authorities on carbon footprint, and to develop future funding for work on climate change.
