Weymouth Energy Advice Centre launched

JohnTomblin and a team of nine volunteers are following the example of Colin Dewsnap in Christchurch and have already given energy advice to 300 people. DEAC has fully-funded 6176 Energy Awareness training for both John and Colin and Emily Bullock, Sustainable Projects Manager provided a half day course for the new Weymouth volunteers. They are using the Home Energy Check as a tool for giving advice and have energy saving light bulbs and powerdowns to provide as incentives. The mayor launched the advice centre by cutting an energy saving cake!
